For our local churches and leaders
· For the ministers and Christian leaders in our city
· For churches without ministers at present
· For the bishops of the Anglican & Catholic churches
· For unity and shared vision
· For ministers and leaders prayer groups & fraternities

Evangelism and Witness
· For the witness and evangelism of our own church, and in our communities
· For those in our own street who do not know Jesus as Lord
· For our local communities eg residential homes, shops, parks etc
· For all our unsaved friends and colleagues
· All Alpha courses
· For all Christian schools work

For young people in the town
· For the growing drug and alcohol problems in Bristol
· For Christian Young people - protection from evil influences, and growing faith
· For local church youth workers
· For children's and youth work in your own church
· For the many young people who have no Christian contact or influence in their lives
· For victims of abuse
· The unloved, and the orphaned

The Elderly in Bristol
· For those in care, nursing or residential
· For those struggling to cope at home
· For families caring for elderly relatives
· For the housebound, lonely and unwell as winter approaches
· For the work of Age Concern, and Help the Aged
· For churches work in this area and for this to increase
· For many bridges across the city to be built between churches full of young people and churches full of the elderly, so they can be mutually helped

Social Care and Outreach
· The work of the Salvation Army, Soup Runs, Methodist drop-in centre, the Crisis Centre, for Grandmas (work with aids families) and others you know of
· For the homeless
· For the Asylum Seekers, and those who seek answers about the future
· The Women's Hostels
· For the work of BECAN in bringing about partnership in community projects across the city between churches & Christian & secular & council organisations.

Bristol in Prayer
· For continued guidance and vision for the future
· For the building up of the Prayer wall so that all the spaces will be filled
· For protection for those involved in this work and their families
· For a greater faith, and commitment to prayer in our churches.

Local Government
· For all those involved in local government work
· For our local MPs,
· For the Bristol City Council, and that God will prepare people to stand at next year's election
· For the passing of moral and Godly laws, both nationally and locally
· For the Christians who work in local government

National Health Service
· Give thanks for the work of the NHS here in Bristol (has some of the best specialists)
· Pray for all those working at the BRI, Southmead, Frenchay, St Peters Hospice, the Children's Hospital and the Mental Hospitals
· For the chaplains in these hospitals
· For local GPs, nurses, midwives
· Those awaiting operations, or undergoing long term treatment
· Christian witness in all these places
· Continue to pray for the ongoing plans to merge Frenchay & Southmead - that God's will is done
· Pray for staffing issues, management & shortages

Education
· For pupils & teachers returning to school
· For those who are unhappy, or bullied at school
· For Christian teachers and school governors
· For all Schools
· For Further Education Colleges & for the universities
· For students to be reached with the gospel
· For protection in our schools - physical, and from wrong teaching, morals and values
· For Christian work amongst overseas students eg. BISC & for churches to be welcoming
