PRAYER POINTS FOR THE UK WHICH HAVE A RELEVANCE FOR BRISTOL:

Prayer points which came out of the Prayer for the Nations conference last year for the UK are still relevant for today - Please pray into them. Issues and concerns that were raised for intercession by Cindy Jacobs, Dutch Sheets, Joel Edwards and John Dawson as well as Gerald Coates and Rod and Julie Anderson, who are international prayer leaders.

• A requirement for God’s Government to be understood by Christians in this country.

There is no other God other than Jesus Christ or law – laws made and passed by Parliament in this country contrary to the Ten Commandments (used as a plumb line) given by God are becoming more unrighteous and will lead us into a lawless nation. For example Cloning Dolly the sheep is felt by the prophet to have brought judgement on this nation – her words of "God help us if we ever do this with human beings"!! What she did not know was that a law has already been passed involving agreement for stem cell research from cloned embryo’s (this was pointed out to her). Stem cell research has been agreed could well be done with fatty tissue from adults.

We have judgement standing at the gates of this Nation and only a passionate call for Christians to wake up, to pray and fast for righteousness for the leaders and potential leaders of government in this nation can avert it.

• If you believe the prophets you will prosper – we need to get into agreement as a corporate body!!! Satan intends to change times and laws (Dan 7 v 25), so that we are out of God’s timing – but there is an Apostolic anointing for intercession to bring a pivotal change in the heavenlies. (The Synergie of the Ages) This can only be accomplished as the Corporate Body of Christ. It is imperative we get together across the denominations to pray and seek the Lord for our city and our Nation.

What you see in Government is what you see in the soul of the Nation.

One hundred women intercessors (The Deborahs) had a luncheon at the House of Lords on Monday and prayed for MP’s and Leaders.

If you have not prayed for Tony Blair daily (with Deborahs heart – a heart of compassion) you need to repent! He faces far more serious powers of darkness than we will ever face. Satan is after the agenda’s of Nations, to rob the redemptive purpose of that Nation. The UK has a call as a Nation to the Body of Christ she is an apostolic nation, a gift of ruler ship.

Encouragement went out to those women in ministry and affirmation in the purposes of God. A call went out for women to take up the priestly protocol to serve the King. Deborah’s and Barak’s to awake and stir up the anointing within to travail for this nation.

Deborah arose when the nation was in serious trouble.

• Do not be put off by an atmosphere of ungodliness because it will change.
• Apostolically shift things before they become law.
• MP’s want to stay in Parliament – write letters (not drafts write from the heart your own letters)
• Put structures in place so we know what is happening in Government and laws that are passed.
• If judgement comes on a nation it affects the just and unjust!! Your children and grandchildren.
• Don’t complain about leaders – PRAY FOR THEM.
• Since the Witchcraft laws were repealed in 1953? It opened a gate into the nation. Then the 60’s a water shed of sin. A voice needs to arise.

WAKE UP!! BODY OF CHRIST – know who you are in Him. Lobby your MP’s for the righteousness of God.

Joel stood with his back against the devastation of the past in his Nation and the optimism for the future. He stood in the gap in the priestly role. He was touched by what was around him. He picked up the passion to pray. Who will cry to bring joy to others. Travail before God. The role is not criticism but to weep.

• Cindy Jacobs also gave a prophetic word of a rise in a Spirit of violence in our streets. (On return riots were reported in Oldham and in London)
• The whole place erupted in prayers of repentance and cries for mercy to God for our country.

• Joel Edwards was commissioned as a voice to the Nation TO STAND AND FIGHT FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
• Pray for strategy from God – for election
• Pray for prophets to hear from God (He does nothing without revealing it first to the prophets). God announces His times.
• Pray and ask yourself in 10 years what will it be like in this country.
• This has already happened in USA and they have experienced prayer like never before.
• For God to raise up a Cyrus (if no Christian leader)
• The visitation of God will come either through judgement or through the church arising and disciplined to prayer
• God will always bring a prophet before He brings the apostle – they have to work together. An imbalance creates no implementation of the Word.
• We are on the verge of reformation – it will require sacrifice.
• Prayer walked around the Houses of Parliament and main party headquarters. Prov 14 v 34, Psalm 33 v 12
• The focus of prayer ministries around the world has switched from 10-40 window to the 40-70 window. That’s us! It includes all Europe and the Silk Road. Saturation prayer for the next 5 years.
• Holy revolution
• There can be no justice when the plumbline of the 10 Commandments are taken from a Nation. Psalm 89 v 14 and Isaiah 33 v 22. The foundation of English law is God’s law. Ps 60 v 7 This is a root in the land that went to America – Blackstone – we need to draw from it!!
• YOU HAVE GOT TO GATHER IN UNITY NOT IN YOUR OWN CHURCH BUT ALL THE CITY OR JUDGEMENT WILL NOT BE AVERTED – CRY OUT FOR THE LAND
• You cannot fight and be double minded

• Air War and the Ground War
• Parent Nation our son’s and daughters are coming to help us.
• Identificational repentance to release the redemptive gifts of a city
• The Call for the Youth of the Nation: Gerald Coates spoke on this indicating a big drive amongst Christians for police.
• 70% of all crime is committed by 12 to 18 year olds all have 4 things in common 1. They don’t know their father 2 They join gangs (family) 3 Excluded from school 4 Physical/Sexual abuse

Described it as a ‘timebomb’ waiting to go off.

• Connecting history, agreeing with prayers of the forefathers. The earth groans, cracks in history, realignement of ages
• Spirit of unbelief in churches – will keep us from planning, fasting and shifting into the new!!
• satan wears down the Saints (mentally and emotionally) which produces a lack of revelation – again designed to prevent us from entering the NEW THING!
• Learn to carry burdens God’s way – own strength – its heavy.
• Beware denial – if we allow fear in and then say its not God’s timing.
• 2 Tim Ch 1 – Stir up the gifts/anointing. War a good warfare with words spoken over you.
• England – stronghold of FAITH
