Psalm 92
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It
is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your
faithfulness in the evening
.
The godly flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted into the Lords own house. They flourish in the courts our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.
Re: the palm tree its depth always exceeds its height! While the roots of the average plant go only a few feet under the ground, the palm trees roots can go down hundreds of yards in search of water. David said , "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you.." Go deep, work on your own connection to God and youll never be uprooted, fruitless or blown away - Pray for the faith of Christians across Bristol today to be strengthened and to grow deeper in Christs love and truth.

FOCUS ON EDUCATION
the council wants to transform secondary
Education in Bristol following many failed Ofsteds & shrinking or growing
numbers of pupils in some areas it has asked for the views of the citizens
for Bristol on this subject via a consultation paper which can be viewed on
www.bristol-city.gov.uk/index.html
or via tel: 903 7669 the planned
programme will last for 10 years so its not too late to get involved. There
is a
need for Christians to bring more of God into the citys strategic
decision-making
Pray the decisions
taken will bring Gods transformation of the secondary schools
in Bristol so that current & future generations can have an opportunity
to hear the
gospel, have quality education with Christian morals & be in a safe in environment
which promotes respect, discipline and harmonious relationships between
teachers and pupils. Pray that Bristol schools will be free of the promotion
of
drugs-taking and of sexual immorality and will be free to have Christian based
school assemblies
PRAYER = SEEING WHAT

things that move His heart in Bristol to enable you to see the city &
people
in the way He sees them to hear His voice

from and be blessed by the different gifts God has given each of us pray
for
another church in your locality pray for the following scripture to become
a

and over independence will be replaced by harmonious relationship and a
spirit of cooperation so that Gods Kingdom can grow in Bristol.
John 13:34
As I have loved you so you must love one another. By this all men will
know
that you are my disciples if you love one another.
GRANDMA'S-BRISTOL - Sarah Bowden Pray for the development of this ministry that offers support to children affected by HIV/AIDS, currently based in Southmead. The Lord is encouraging me to keep trusting in His perfect timing. Building spiritual and physical foundations can take a long time but the lessons learnt are invaluable. Please pray for families to hear about our offer of support and to have the courage to ask for help. Thank you for praying. If you have any feedback I would be glad to hear from you. PRAY FOR PEACEFUL HARMONIOUS RACE & RELIGIOUS RELATIONS
Continue to remember
and pray into Cindy Jacobs warning that unless there
is united prayer across our cities there will be race riots which has already
happened in 4 cities in the UK. Hosea 6:5 I use prophets to shake you
to
attention
My words cut you to the quick.. To wake you up to My judgement
blazing like light.. Clifford Hill of the Prophecy Today magazine is confirming
this message. Sept 11th events makes this more apt.
PRAY FOR PROTECTION
OF BRISTOL & THE UK AGAINST BIOLOGICAL
WARFARE or OTHER REVENGE ATTACKS BY EXTREMISTS & for a swift end
& resolution to the war in Afghanistan.
PRAY FOR a NEW PROJECT IN LOCKLEAZE at St James Lockleaze Christian Fellowship has now closed and the building has been passed onto for use by the Ebenezer Church in Horfield. They have overseas students living in the house behind the church. Prayer points are for the release of funds for the installation of a new heating system and a new kitchen and toilets for the church building. The original vision for St James was that it would be a light on hillside glorifying God all around. Pray this into being since the area has many deep social and spiritual needs. Pray for the residents of Lockleaze to be blessed by the new project and for Gods timing in new outreaches, works of social action and faith. Pray for the vision and the right workers to come forward. Pray also for more Christian workers in the local schools.
